Shawn Vieron (b. Toronto, Canada) is an interdisciplinary artist exploring military industries, competitive sports, and pirated media. Through sculpture, installation, sound, and image-based mediums, he examines their effects on identity, labour, and survival.

My notebook traces Mexico City through different material and bodily encounters—wrestling arenas, chinampas, Barragán's architecture, street food, music, concrete, colour, and heat. Sketches and notes become recorded tools for understanding the poetics of Mexico City.
