OCAD U International + Culturans present
a Creative Contrasts Digital Exhibition.
About this Digital Exhibition:
A Journal. A repository for fleeting thoughts, jokes,
people and moments caught in time.
Putting pen
to paper unlocks a
raw creative freedom.
An act of resistance and radical presence
in a world competing
for our attention.
In February 2026, OCAD U students from across disciplines, immersed themselves in the vibrant pulse of Mexico City through local perspectives as they captured ideas on their journals. Yet, even in shared spaces, student’s impressions diverged beautifully—a brilliant manifestation of unique artistic identity.
‍Raw, Unfiltered & Unpolished.

This Digital Exhibition is dedicated to all participants of the Program "Creative Contrasts: From Contrasts to Creation in Mexico City": Alex, Ana, Berfu, Billie, Desirae, Jana, Megara, Shawn, Sofia, Sreya, and Tzu-Jui — your energy, curiosity, and joy moved us deeply. Until next time!
Collective Canvas:
To conclude a day-long tour in one of Mexico City's neighborhoods, participants created this collective canvas collaboratively during a creative exercise. It served as a collective reflection, capturing the specific emotions, details, and impressions from their day exploring the area.
The works presented in the Digital Exhibition “Raw, Unfiltered & Unpolished”, were created as part of the program “Creative Contrasts: From Contrast to Creation in Mexico City,” hosted by Culturans in collaboration with OCAD University from the 14th to 22th of February 2026.
